Got her done! I didn’t think I’d be able to finish her tonight, but I proved myself wrong! Yes!
Okay, so here is my lovely 5th PZPTH OC - Vesper’s “minion” and partner-in-crime - Helga! I think you can all tell who my main reference was for her. I used pictures of Larry, as well as Vonnie, for her overall figure and look. I also drew inspiration from the character Sadness from the movie “Inside Out”.
I have to be honest, she was the hardest to draw this far, which is a bit of a shock. I thought one of the others would’ve been the hardest, but nope, Helga takes the cake. Probably because the others dealt with more angles and sharp lines, while Helga has a more curvy and round figure. That’s probably why I had some difficulty. I love how she came out though; I wanted her to look sweet and lovable, and I think I did a good job at doing so.
Here are some facts about her:
- She’s the vice principal at Middleburg Central High, so she works alongside Larry. As such, she considers him to be a very good friend, someone she’ll talk to about anything and everything. Whenever they’re not out on missions with Rippen and Vesper, they will often exchange stories with each other.
- She is Vesper’s minion and partner-in-crime. No one knows why she joined Vesper - not even Vesper knows why. Helga has never told her her reason for turning over to villainy. It only confuses Vesper, since Helga has never once shown an ounce of being evil or bad before. She’s quite the opposite.
- She’s a sweet woman who is very kind to anyone and everyone. Sometimes a bit too sweet. She has been known to be a part of heading any school events, as well as bringing in sweets for the students (such as cupcakes and cookies she’s made herself).
- She has a habit of suddenly telling some of her life stories, as well as her own random thoughts, especially during missions. This often gets on Vesper’s nerves quickly, but she rolls with it; letting it all get out of Helga’s system. She also has a habit of getting easily distracted by little things here and there.
- She is the owner of four pet cats, all of which she adores greatly. Their names are Mr. Mittens, Henry, The Madame, and Winifred. It’s the reason why Vesper will never go to her home; she can’t stand all the cat hair and them constantly wanting attention. The only one she can stand is The Madame, who is the oldest and the laziest; she rarely walks around and never cares for anyone else.
- Just like Tatum, Helga loves to dance, as well as sing. Every chance she gets, she’ll dance until she drops. She’s got fabulous moves, and has tried numerous times to persuade Vesper into letting her teach her, but of course, Vesper always rejects the offer.
- Many view her as the kind of individual who’d listen to elegant soothing music, but that’s not the case with Helga. Surprisingly, she actually has a weakness for heavy metal, especially death metal. She will automatically crank up her music as soon as she gets home from work. She likes to rock to it while working in the kitchen.
- She’s best friends with Vesper. She looks up to her as a role model in terms of villainy, and has even taken notes during missions even though she’s supposed to be helping out. Vesper has little knowledge of this, and as such, views her as even more of a nuisance.
- She’s been known to accidentally help out the part-time heroes during missions from time to time. She doesn’t mean to, it’s just in her sweet and helpful nature to do so. And whenever she does it, it infuriates Vesper beyond words. It usually takes Helga a moment to realize what she’s done, before apologizing greatly to Vesper. She usually makes up for it by playing Michael Jackson’s “Bad” for her, as well as baking her something sugary and delicious. It almost always does the trick.
That’s all I’ve got for now, but there will be more to come. Two more characters!! TWO MORE!!
